Hand carved Buddha coin necklace reproduction of an Indian coin from the Kushan empire (circa 1st–3rd century CE).
The Kushan empire covered most of north West Indian subcontinent, Afghanistan, Pakistan and Kashmir.
Its founder, Kushan Kanishka, was a patron of buddhism and spread the religion to Central Asia and China.
